I figure, there's no better place to start looking for talent than right here with the people who follow me.  So, before I go elsewhere, you see it first...I'm hiring a new second photographer.  This position will not be lead shooting weddings, but second shooting weddings with me.  You must have a digital SLR with at least a couple lenses and be available on Saturdays.  Please be passionate about photography and weddings!  If you fit the bill, send me an e-mail with a link to your images, a list of camera equipment and something about you.

Rain and hail couldn't stop us as Morgan, Jeff & I were shooting their engagement session in Watkins Mill State Park Monday afternoon.  You can view their preview here. The storm came right in the middle of our session but it stayed on one side of park while we went to the other.  The sky in the last 15 minutes was so dark and blue and then the sun decided to come out.  It made for some dramatic lighting and just in time for a dramatic scene.  The last place we stopped in the park was at this burnt down structure right at the entrance.  It was so fresh, we could still smell the smoke.  This, to me, makes sense for Morgan & Jeff because, not only do they work at an Insurance company, they also met there...aww.   Get it? =)  It was also just a really cool area.  In fact the whole park was awesome for photography...wish I lived closer.
